About the artist

I was born in 1956 in Manoharpur, a small town in Bihar, northeastern India, 300 miles west of Calcutta. The youngest of eight children I came to England in 1957 with my parents and five siblings. I am a racial and religious melting-pot. My grandparents were German, Portuguese, and Indian with French and British heritage. My grandmother, a German Jewess (nèe Rosenburg), went to India to marry a Portuguese Catholic in Goa! I like to think this ‘eclectic’ background influences me both artistically and personally. The main inspiration for my art is science but I have no fixed style and rarely plan work ahead unless it is commissioned.
My favourite artists are Gerhard Richter and Jackson Pollock (who used to ride a bicycle over some of his larger canvasses!) I would love to work on that sort of scale! One day!!

Reasonable offers for pieces are always considered but if accepted must be picked up from the artist, and paid for, before collection.

Collection and delivery

Delivery can be arranged at no extra cost up to five miles if the full price is paid in advance. Collection from my home is also possible.

Commissions

I accept commissions. Art can personalise your work or living space. Commissioning will enable you to influence the materials, colours, shape and size of the piece to match your personal taste. It makes a statement and stamps your character on your home or workplace. I particularly like painting on to the wall – but you have to be sure!

T-Shirts

Any of the art can be printed onto a t-shirt. It makes a fun present and will be signed, if requested, as a unique gift.
£50.00 + P&P – sizes small, medium, large and extra large.

Framing

Framing can be arranged, at cost, to suit your requirements.
Some paintings are best unframed.
